2-meter simplex only,
Sat. Feb. 27, 2010,
10AM to 11AM EST,
Exchange is   CHECK**    and  NAME  (** see below)
Logs, handwritten only, showing  TIME  -  CALL  -  CHECK  -  NAME   ***(see below),
Top of log sheets to show your  Call,  Name  and  Check sent.

** The  CHECK  is  2 letters plus 2 digits,       ie.      FR27   ,   The letters are the first two of
your middle name, and the digits are the last two of your house number, or P.O.Box number.
The example above would be for   FRank   and   address number    11127, or P.O.Box #527.
If no middle name then pick a couple letters that would be unique, such as ZG  or  XR.
If you have only a middle initial then double it, as     Tom J. White,  make it   JJ.
If no house number or box number then pick any 2 digits that you like, such as 99  or  55
or  21.   Just so that the CHECK is the same for every QSO.

You may NOT log a QSO made on a repeater. You can ask someone on the repeater to move
to one of the simplex frequencies to get a legal QSO.

Logs must be submitted at the March 4th general meeting. Winners award will be presented
at the April 1st meeting.
